Originally from Romania and now residing in Germany, Abigail Fekete is the passionate founder and owner of TheBudgieBlog. Her love for budgies has taken flight over the years, as she has cared for a total of nine of these charming birds. She currently shares her home with her beloved budgies, Hatchin and Azuki, who continue to inspire her to learn and share her knowledge with others.
Abigail's dedication to these captivating birds goes beyond her own flock. She has volunteered at a rescue shelter for budgies and other exotic birds in Costa Rica, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in avian care and rehabilitation. The shelter, which can be found at here, provided Abigail with a wealth of knowledge and further fueled her desire to share her love for budgies with the world.
